Rudra Udyog, trading as Gupta Metal Store, is a retailer and wholesaler of premium stainless steel products at 127 GT Road, Mehndi Bagan, Purba Bardhaman. Founded by Rakesh Gupta, the shop began as a straightforward promise: sell only genuine steel, at an honest weight and an honest price.
Today that counter carries the brands families across Bengal already know — Mahipal, Jindal Stainless Steel, Anchor by Seagull and Royalware — alongside our own Rudra Udyog label of steel ladders, trolleys and utility hardware. Households, shopkeepers, hotels and caterers all buy from the same shelves, at retail and at wholesale.
We do not fabricate to order. What we do is stock deeply, buy directly, and stand behind every piece we hand across the counter.

Forty years at the counter, built from the ground up. Rakesh Gupta knows the stainless steel trade by hand — the gauges, the grades, the makers worth carrying — and has grown Rudra Udyog into a trusted multi-brand name through decades of consistency and plain integrity.
Co-Founder
Founder of Khatu Shyam Industries in her own right, Vanita Gupta brings independent entrepreneurial leadership to Rudra Udyog. She has been a driving force behind the firm's growth — shaping buying strategy, brand partnerships and the standards customers now expect from the counter.
